When it comes to the sporadically produced and largely repetitive film series that this TV show is based upon I am something of an agnostic.

‘Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines’ is not a lean, direct action thriller like the first movie. Neither is it a pompous, overlong paean to a mediocre director’s ego like the second.

I should warn readers that this review is not future-proofed – I have a bad record when it comes to this franchise…
